The countdown to our Sea Theatre performance has begun...🏴‍☠️🎭

Join us for Quantum Theatre’s swashbuckling adaption of the classic pirate adventure, Treasure Island, on Thursday 13th August 2026.

We’ll have a BBQ full of tasty treats and bakery snacks for you to enjoy and the bar will be fully stocked for our older guests.

Tickets are £12.50 per person and children under 3 go free.

From 11th – 15th May, artist Hannah Davies returns to Scarlet for a special residency, completing the paintings she began here with us last summer ❤️

Across the week, Hannah will be reconnecting with our clifftop retreat that first inspired the work, and those nearby are warmly invited to drop in, meet her, and witness part of the creative process.

For guests staying with us, Hannah will also host a complimentary outdoor drawing workshop on Thursday 14th, exploring free, expressive sketch-booking inspired by Scarlet’s coastal setting. A chance to loosen up creatively and build confidence drawing from life.

Spaces for Thursday’s workshop are limited, please speak to our team on arrival for booking details.

We’re delighted to welcome back Hannah Davies as our Artist in Residence at Scarlet ❤️

Hannah will be joining us from 11–15 May, continuing the beautiful work she began during her previous residency, as well as hosting an exclusive in-house workshop.

Introducing our newest artist, Victoria Smith, a Cornish artist based in Breage, for ep.12 of our artist series ❤️

"My paintings are a search for a balance; a stability of space and form fabricated by a process of layering and generating illusionary depth. Vertical and horizontal divisions are a common occurrence in my work. Relationships between interlocking forms, colours and lines inspired by my surrounding landscape are a strong influence. These connections often appear jumbled, lost or unclear as a result of working from memory.

Although restructuring these memories to re-establish parity is my aim, allowing the viewer to enjoy my work and create their own interpretation is equally rewarding and exciting." - Victoria

We are pleased to share our much-loved annual Christmas Fayre will be taking place at Bedruthan this year on the 22nd & 23rd of November 🎄❤️

With stalls from a mix of talented craftspeople and artisan makers from around the South West, there'll be plenty of unique Christmas gifts to choose from. There'll be makers and creators selling art, crafts, ceramics, textiles, illustration, homewares, gifts, fashion, jewellery and food and drink.

Make the most of the day, bring the kids, and join us for Christmas crafts, festive delights from the bakery and play in Jungle tumble. Christmas cheer will be in full supply for adults and children alike!

Introducing our newest artist Esme Lansdowne for ep.11 of our artist series ❤️

Esme is a Cornish artist based in Penzance, UK. Raised in St. Ives, she grew up immersed in Cornwall’s rich artistic heritage and its rugged landscapes, which continue to shape her creative practice.

Primarily a painter, Esme also works across assemblage, sculpture, sound, and film, producing work that is driven by process and materiality. By utilising natural pigments sourced from the landscapes she inhabits, Esme explores themes of place, home, and belonging.
