Lovely people of Mayfield and beyond.
As you know Blackbird now has a short week. We open Thursday to Saturday. We have found this is much better for us, our staffing is easier and it allows us to keep the stock lively, especially at the moment with the run of really lovely dinner dresses we have coming through. We will do a weekly post so that you can see a small section of what is new and fresh. Enjoy the long summer days, keep cool, and wear linen, cotton, viscose and that wonderful old standard, cheesecloth! natural fibres really do keep you cooler. Blackbird šŸ¦ā€ā¬›

A beautiful new delivery of our hats has flown into Blackbird, and since itā€™s also the ladies buying the gentlemanā€™s fedoras and trilbys we now stock the small to medium sizes with the adjustable pull string for the perfect fit. Given the glorious weather we also took on some gentlemanā€™s summer hats, just the first of the new season collection, lots more to come as the days enter into even more loveliness. Thank you lovely people who came to see us today at Blackbird. Weather doesnā€™t exactly inspire a stroll through the village but it was clearly worth it as you bought some very lovely things. Itā€™s so good to be backšŸ„°
