Wow can’t believe I’m writing this, but I have actually completed my 50km in May challenge this morning. Had the boy wonder with me to keep me going, as it was very hard in the heat.

Incase you missed the first post the reason I’ve been doing this challenge, is to raise money for the it’s a cause very close to my heart. I sadly lost twins a while ago now, a boy an a girl. I’ve never been able to do anything for them as their mum, so this was for them. An also all the monies raised goes to support other families who are dealing with loss.

If you wanted to donate that would be amazing, but equally a thumbs up for doing it is just as good. I was a complete non runner 3 weeks ago, so I’ve amazed myself tbh and I do intend to keep it up.

Well that’s the first week of running done!! Ive gone from not running at all for over 35 years to doing 16km in the last week. Muscles are aching that I didn’t even know I had!!

But I have surprised myself by how much I’m actually enjoying it. An even more thrilled with how many lovely kind people that have donated. The work the does is invaluable. To be able to help another family go through what I experienced is the reason I keep going. I may be slow but I’m getting there!! Thanks for all your support!

As some of you may know I have 4 gorgeous children, but I also have 2 very special babies that didn’t make it. As anyone that has sadly experienced miscarriage or the loss of a child, it changes you forever.

So as a complete non runner!! I have decided to sign up to the wonderful charity and run 50k in May 😬what could possibly go wrong!!!

If anyone would like to or is able to sponsor me, it would mean the world. Equally a few words of encouragement would also be amazing! I haven’t ran since school, so just a couple of years ago!!

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to each an every one of you for responding to my last post. I was quite nervous about doing it, as it had been so long. But oh my goodness the love and kindness I have felt has been truly amazing!!

I am very much an open book and wear my heart on my sleeve, sometimes to my downfall. But sharing how I was feeling and knowing that others are also going through it, has really helped.

In 11 years of making I have never kept a single piece, this little tin I’ve made over the weekend is mine to keep. The sentiment is what I need to hear and the little figure is also very apt, as I set up a cleaning business a couple of years ago to support myself. So it just felt very fitting that I should actually keep it.
I appreciate all of your support an will continue to create, thank you for believing in me xx ❤️

It’s been so long since I’ve posted on here feels strange doing it now. Rhubarb Tree began in 2015 after having 4 wonderful children, I just needed something of my own an the opportunity to be creative. I could never have imagined how it would of all worked out. At my busiest I stocked 16 shops, galleries and attended events all over the country.

I’ve met the most wonderful people, made fabulous friends an created a little community on here which is all just amazing. Some of you may know, my whole world fell apart 3 years ago, with the loss of my darling brother an other personal stuff. I’ve tried to continue making, but it’s just not been happening for me.

I know most people won’t probably even read this far, so if you do thank you for listening to me ramble on. These 2 tins are the first things I’ve made all year. It’s taken me a while, but I’ve been sat there contemplating what to do. Should I just call it a day or continue, but at my own pace an not try to compete with the version of myself I used to be.

So the quote is rather apt you see, as life is an adventure. Might not follow the plot you thought it would, but I do love creating an I do love being able to take old unloved items an turn them into pieces that bring joy to so many. So thank you for being there, every like and comment means the world. And hopefully I shall find my flow again and make more.

Happy birthday to my darling girl!!! So proud of the beautiful young woman you have become. Does not feel like 24 years ago since I became your mommy!! Love you always sweetheart ❤️

A tricky week this one, cannot believe that’s it’s 26 years ago today since I lost my wonderful mum. An then on Saturday it will be 3 years since my darling brother passed. I feel there love an presence around me always. But what I would give for one more conversation an hug.

Happy Valentine’s Day!! Apologies for the complete lack of posts of late, life is just too busy. Also been trying to get my mediumship business up an running so it’s not left much time for making.

Anyway as it’s the day of love, thought I’d share a sneak peek of this little one. Rhubarb Tree is taking part in an exhibition next week so have made this to take there. A beautiful gallery an some amazing things to buy there. So well worth a trip out.
