🍂 OUR AUTUMN WORKSHOP CALENDAR IS HERE!! 🍂

We’ve had lots of lovely enquiries about our upcoming workshops over the last couple of weeks, so we thought it was about time we shared what we’ve got planned! 👀✨

We’ve got a wonderful mix of creative classes this time around - from acrylic painting and macramé pumpkins to pottery ghosts and plenty more. 🎨👻🎃

So come and get cosy with us this September & October, learn something new, make something lovely and enjoy a few hours of creativity! 🧡

Spaces are limited to 8 per classes, so if you’ve spotted a workshop you fancy, don’t leave it too long to book!

PSA: This is your ONE WEEK reminder to book your space at our kids art club which is starting next Wednesday 9th September!!

Taught by Roo, a qualified art teacher of 10+ years, each session the kids will be learn a range of techniques with different mediums to grow their confidence with art while also spending an hour with likeminded kids and make friends! 🎨🫟

I was “out of shop” for 4 days and came back to lots of maker deliveries - honestly what a dream!!

I’ve spent the day unpacking boxes and getting so excited about all this wonderful new stock! It’s like Christmas for me whenever this happens, I absolutely love it 😍😍

And it’s also encouraged me to refresh the middle table, so we’re gradually getting out of summer mode and into cosy season mode! We’ve got reading journals, new crafting kits, and ornaments and accessories to set the scene too! 🍄

Some days are harder than others in small business, especially when you work solo.

I was just thinking about calling it a day when this couple walked in and said, “Do you wanna play a game where we have to buy one thing each from this shop?”

And it immediately perked me right up. 😂

Firstly, I LOVE the idea of turning shopping into a little game, but also… buying something for each other just because? I was absolutely invested.

Then I spotted they’d both picked up the exact same thing and felt I had to intervene 😂

But the second gift was sooo cute… a little pair of ceramic pants saying “I fancy the pants off you” 🥹🥹

It was just such a wholesome little interaction, but it made a huge difference to my mood and genuinely uplifted me.

And then, as if the universe was having a little laugh with me, I happened to have a really good afternoon of sales too.

A little reminder that this tiny shop of mine is worth it after all. 🥹

Sometimes you just need one lovely little moment to remind you why you started. 🫶🏻

After a couple of weeks of hard work planning and preparing the trail to create something to entertain the kids during the summer holidays, it really is so rewarding to see it appreciated so much it made it to print!
