These wee bears are making our custom oooo and ahhhhhh...they are just so gorgeous.

All hand cut and machine stitched with hand stitching to finish.

Mohair and liberty fabrics are used to create each one..if you haven't already seen them do pop in before the end of September.

These are bears for life,heirlooms of the future for sure.

Two of my favourite purchases from our little shop in Melrose..

The most gorgeous twinkly glass mushroom from Holmes Glass ,it sits on my work desk catching the sun.

My little pottery Bothy from ..which reminds me of trips up north.

So many amazing hand crafted creations in our cooperative shop ,brings so much joy!

There is definitely a feeling of autumn in the air and the evenings are getting chillier.

Jane Hall "Knotty kneckers" scarves are perfect for keeping you cosy and of course they come in a lovely variety of colours and textures.

Please give a warm..and very cuddly welcome to our second guest crafter for September.

We are delighted to have Teviot Teddies in our shop until the end of September..they won't be sold anywhere else so do pop in!

Debbie Ogg lives in the Teviot hills where she creates her unique teddies.

She is the daughter of an arctophile..a person who loves or collects teddy bears (she thinks it may be hereditary)

Debbie says..

" Every Teviot Teddy is made by hand and it's a slow process.
There are endless possibilities and combinations of mohair, tweeds, eyes and threads for faces, so every bear has it's own unique character.
I think that's why I never get bored and I'm always excited to start creating the next one.
