🌸 STODY LODGE GARDEN OPEN DAYS 🌸

This week you will also be able to find us again at the beautiful Stody Lodge Gardens on their special open days. We will have lots of our plants for sale along with local Strawberries and Asparagus!

Known as one of East Anglia’s most dramatic spring gardens, the colours and scents at Stody Lodge will lift the spirits and dazzle the senses throughout its annual flowering period each May.

The intense palette of its 200 varieties of rhododendrons and azaleas across 14-acres is softened by beautiful magnolias, camellias, ornamental and specimen trees, late daffodils and bluebells. These gardens are renowned for meandering pathways lined with towering blooms, magnificent yew hedging, expansive lawns and delicious homemade teas.

Stody Lodge also boasts a little-known national treasure: its exceptional four-acre Azalea Water Gardens which is widely believed to be the largest single planting of vividly coloured azalea mollis (over 2,000 plants)

Trachelospermum Jasminoides

Often more commonly known as Evergreen Jasmine or Star Jasmine - these are one of our best sellers. Here are some reasons why..

🪴 Unlike most climbers these are evergreen for all year round interest

🪴 Produces dark glossy leaves often turning a deep bronze colour during the winter months

🪴 This plant produces a pretty star shaped flower throughout Summer with the beautiful Jasmine scent

🪴 It enjoys a full sun to partial shade

🪴 Easy to grow

If you’re looking for something instant - we have just taken delivery of these large ones on a frame which are fantastic for screening. These are £250 with free local delivery

We also have them in a smaller version for just £12.95 - including a more unusual pink version which I was very excited about when we managed to source them! This variety is called ‘Star of Ibiza’
