"Lets -Sew-it".....craft days and get togethers in and around Melton Mowbray,Leicestershire, patchwork and quilting workshops and clubs, scrapbooking and paper craft workshops and products. We can come to you....if you would like to host a sewing or paper craft event for your group or club please get in touch, minimum of 5 poeple attending, you provide the venue and refreshments, we will provide the rest, kits, tuition, and maybe even the cake!!

LIBERTY ZIPPED POUCH.
A gorgeous liberty fabric patchwork and quilted zipped pouch.
Saturday 1st and Friday 7th August.
10am-1pm
this is an intermediate level workshop, you need to bring a sewing machine and basic sewing kit, scissors,cotton etc.
£35 ( deposit required to secure your place)

IRON BAG/MAT.
This is fantastic for on the go crafters or those with little space at home, open up the bag for ironing mat, and iron, fold and put away when finished, with heat resistant wadding to protect surfaces.
Friday 14th OR Saturday 22nd August.
10am-1pm
This is an intermediate level workshop.
You need a sewing machine and a basic sewing kit, scissors, cotton etc.
£40 ( deposit required to secure your place)

WILLIAM MORRIS LAP QUILT.
A 2 day workshop to make this stunning william morris strawberry thief quilt, measuring 50" x 63" approx.
Friday 11th and Saturday 12th September
OR
Saturday 3rd and saturday 10th October
This is an intermediate level workshop.
You need to bring your sewing machine and a basic sewing kit, scissors, cotton etc and some fabric spray mount and safety pins.
£120 (deposit required to secure your place)

We do have sewing machine available to use for a workshop at £5 per day.

When i say intermediate I mean you must be able to use a sewing machine competently.

All workshops will come with all fabrics, wadding etc to complete the project.

It's Monday, and breath, it's cooler, thank goodness.
We have a couple of boxes of fabrics arrive on Friday, a top up of some blenders, some new white on whites, a few other patterned bolts, a gorgeous set of florals, V&A Pressed in time.
I found a couple of tartans, that people have been looking for.

We have a couple of spaces left on saturdays Liberty heart cushion workshop, if you would like to come along, please message or call into the shop to book.

Yesterday (Saturday) we had a couple of wallhanging finishes, both amazing, well done guys, both never having done raw edge applique before, but did such a great job.
This kit is available on the shop.

We are closed today. Open again tomorrow, with the man himself in charge.

2 new workshops have hit the window.

Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th July, Heart Applique Cushion, this is an intermediate level, 10am-1pm £40 to include the complete kit.

Friday 17th and Saturday 18th July, Pallet Scrap, this is a scrapbook design to be displayed, £20 to include the kit, all you need is to bring a photo.

Please call in to book, deposit is required.

Friday 12th June Butterfly Tote, intermediate level, £40

Saturday 13th Sunday 14th introduction to Embroidery, £10. Am or pm sessions.

Well I'm enjoying the cooler weather, I'm not a lover of the temperatures we had last week, but it is a lot cooler in the shop so if you need a cool down you know where to come.... and drool over the new Cross stitch kits that have landed, they are gorgeous.
