This isn’t a post I want to post but sadly it is one I have to 😔

I knew coming back after 2 years off (after we lost kay ) wouldn’t be easy and it really hasn’t been , we’ve worked really hard both at events and actually trying to book them 🤦‍♂️

Kay and I worked so hard for many years to get to a point where we had a regular round of good solid shows and events booked year after year and i knew that trying to come back in just 12 months was never going to be easy let alone “successful “ but if I’m honest this year has been an absolute disaster at points with events cancelled, postponed ,rained off ect ect
I know everyone is feeling the squeeze financially which makes life for smaller traders like me even harder 😔

With that said I’ve taken the very difficult decision that this Christmas I will not be purchasing “Christmas” sweets
We will continue to offer all our normal sweets , hampers ect , but I won’t be purchasing any Christmas sweets
Halloween cost me £200 which ended up as a loss I couldn’t afford I can’t risk Christmas being the same

I want to thank everyone for their support this year and I will endeavour to continue building our diary of events to keep building a bigger better shop for you all and hopefully next Christmas will be bigger and better

Ps at this stage it’s only the Christmas sweets that are cancelled, our Christmas Day may be a small affair this year but Christmas it’s self isn’t cancelled (yet) ❤️

I want to know what my lovely customers would like from us

We can do sweet carts for weddings , birthdays , yep even funerals

We can make up party bags , sweet cones

You can hire a staff member and a fully loaded pick and mix trike for a prepaid Sweetshop at your wedding or corporate event

Maybe you’re having a couples movie night and want a movie night box , eg drinks , sweets , crisps , biscuits
Maybe it’s a family movie night and you want movie night hamper !!

Maybe you just want 1kg of sweets to satisfy your sweet tooth

It doesn’t matter what you want we can provide it

Did you know if every one of our page’s followers spent just £5 each month with us …… we as a family would be financially stable

We are not a big company making millions for a CEO and share holders with multiple homes and cars

No we are a widower with 3 kids a dog and a car just trying to get through each month day by day

£5 each just £5 the difference to us would be amazing , Tesco , Sainsbury’s, Asda , Morrisons they won’t notice if you give us that £5 instead of them but we definitely would notice
They wouldn’t say thank you for your £5 ….. we definitely would say thank you from the bottom of our hearts

So support a small business each month , our profits don’t buy fancy houses and flash cars
It buys school clothes , groceries, pays the electric bills , Keeps the car on the road
