Ever wonder if movies are real? 🌹😂

Well, I now believe The Happening is...
..because today I was attacked by my rose bush!

It impaled me IN THE BACK with a 1cm curved thorn! 😭

I was literally stuck in the bush. I could reach it and feel it, but because it was curved and embedded, I couldn't get it out myself.

Hubby to the rescue...

He came over, took one look at it and...

YANK!! 😭😂

Now please tell me...

I'm not the only poor bu**er this has happened to?! 🤦‍♀️🦋

A little happy dance today! 🥳📚

I had payment yesterday for another few of my books after taking them to karate last week.

It's still such a surreal feeling knowing people want to own something I've created.

Every single reader means the world to me. Thank you for supporting this little dream of mine. 💛

Three years to write this book...
..and what feels like three decades to illustrate it! 🤣🎨

Here's a little before and after from page one.

This page alone has taken me two days, and it's STILL not finished! Every little detail is being drawn by hand, layer by layer in Procreate.

Hopefully it will all be worth it in the end. 🙈💛📚

A little quieter than usual lately...

I've been working away behind the scenes on a very special project, and it's taking every spare minute I have. 💛

I can't wait until I can finally share it with you, but for now, here's a little moment of calm from today's walk. 🌿

..and I'm already back at the drawing board. ✏️📚

Being an author means there's always another page waiting to be written.

I can't tell you what I'm working on just yet... 🤫

But I hope it'll be another story that children and families will love. 💚
