Just found out that 2 Scallies/Scroats who live in St Barnaba's Road, broke in & robbed Balti Hut takeaway 3 doors down from my shop @ 07.30am Saturday morning! 😲 These 2 were so brazen as they walked up & down casing all the shops on my side of the block, before kicking in the door of Balti Hut & getting away with a till & cash drawer before legging it!😠

These 2 also broke into The Linthorpe pub as well, from what I heard🤔😲 They were caught & arrested after being recorded on numerous CCTV in the area & the Police were given their names & even their address......Oops!😂🤣😅😁

Might as well of done a LIVE broadcast lads on TikTok/Facebook as you were breaking in.....DOH!🙄 Not related to that soft lad who robbed a shop recently & kept falling off his pedal bike trying to make his getaway (see Teesside Gazette for the video....lol😂🤣😅😁)......oh-dear, how sad, never mind!😉

Had to laugh on Saturday. Had a young lad ask if I could fix his rear bike wheel as he'd found a few loose spokes, so decided to tighten these & a few others up too! He'd apparently, done his "homework" 1st (watched a few YouTube videos) & set about his wheel😲 Needless to say, all didn't go as planned & he ended up "pringling" said wheel in the process🙄

Over an hour of either bending the rim back on my knee (& even the cast iron pole outside my shop🤨), then fettlin' it in my truing jig, his wheel was perfect again & told him to throw his spoke key away & leave jobs like this to his LBS to do as next time, he might not be so lucky!🤔

Probably best practising on an old wheel he's not bothered about as this wheel could have cost his Dad over £100 to replace! But, it's good to see him try at least tho!😉👍

Here we have a 2021 model Trek Powerfly 4 Ebike (Medium) in mint green/matt grey, 10 Shimano Deore gears, Tektro hydraulic brakes with upgraded 203mm discs, 29" thru axle wheels fitted with a Schwalbe Rapid Rob 29x2.25 on the front & a Textra Highlander 29x2.45 on the rear. Both tyres have built-in puncture protection. SR Suntour XCM 34 lock-off front suspension forks (colour coded).

The bike has just had a new chain, cassette & chain ring fitted, along with new lock-on grips too! (A touch under £200 for the latter)

It has the Bosch motor fitted to it & there are chips that can be fitted to "upgrade" these motors😉 Prices for these chips vary a fair bit from just over £100 - £300. But I've found it fast/responsive enough as standard.

This was a £3k bike when it was new. It is in really good condition & comes with a charger (£140.00 on their own!😲)

Looking for £1,500. Sad to see it go, but it's just not getting used enough to be honest.

Up for grabs here is a Carrera Vulcan E-spec ebike. Full grey alloy 20" frame, with black 27.5" wheel's (front Q/R, rear nutted). It has 9 Shimano Altus gears & various pedal assist modes.

It also has 2 Slimed inner tubes fitted to stem down any punctures, Clarks hydraulic disc brakes & Suntour XCM-30 adjustable front suspension forks.

Bike has just been serviced & is ready to jump on & ride away! Max, legal speed on it is 15mph as it is only "pedal assist", no throttle!

It is in very good condition & looking for £575.00 for it.
