Well… it’s Saturday morning, the electricity is still off, and at this point if we don’t laugh we might cry 😂

It’s at times like this, when a small business is dealing with problems completely beyond its control, that we really do need our customers.

So… if you were ever looking for an excuse to buy sweets this weekend, THIS IS IT 🍬😂

We are still here, we are still open for sweets, and after yesterday’s slightly-too-successful supplier trip we have some VERY fun Halloween goodies to show you 👻🎃

We still can’t make ice cream, milkshakes or slushies until the power comes back on, but we can absolutely sell you enough sugar to get us all through this together.

Pop in, say hello, buy a bag of sweets, admire our increasingly ridiculous Halloween stock and help keep two slightly frazzled sweet-shop owners smiling 💗

Small businesses really do notice every single customer — especially on weekends like this.

A little shop update 💕

We’ve had an unexpected issue at the shop which means we’re not able to trade fully at the moment.

So, rather than waste the day, we’re taking the opportunity to head a little further afield to one of our suppliers — which means we’ll be coming back with some extra-special goodies 👀🍬✨

We will be back later today and will reopen for sweet sales 🍭
(and if the power issue is resolved icecream & slushies too)
As we’re travelling a bit further than usual, we can’t give you an exact reopening time just yet — we’ll update you when we’re on our way back.

And tomorrow, at the very least, **sweets will be available as normal** 💕
