It's been a hot minute hasn't it?

Excitingly, I've been asked to design wedding stationery for two wonderful couples getting married on the horizon which has kickstarted my love of a good print project!

Speaking of, I'm delighted to finally show you these gorgeous photos taken of the invites I designed and printed for Sam and Lou's wedding back in 2023. How gorgeous do they look?

I was so honoured to be asked to design and print my dear friends wedding invitations for their big day this year.

I mixed the ink to make this lovely sage green and greeny grey (scroll to the last picture to see their original colour choices. 🎨) These pictures don't do the colours justice I promise.

Letterpress printed on Adana 8x5.
Printed on Loop Birch 298gsm.

A successful printing day testing out ink mixing to make this stunning pink 💗

Using the polymer plate I designed for some pals, I had a go printing on different stocks I had hanging about. Interestingly I even found out how thick of stock my Adana can achieve to print an equal impression.

Swipe for some detail and that stunning pink in action. Need to think what I could make from these tests - any ideas are hugely appreciated!

As well as their table name stationery, I was also asked to design and print separate piece table plans. Do you know the reference of the table names? ⚽

Of course in typical Emily style, I had to pick up on and Paul's love of their allotment, so I used seed paper which could be planted later on to remind the couple of their wonderful day. 🧡

FIRST 'PROPER' JOBS 🖨

I've been lucky enough to be asked by two members of my family to design and print their wedding invitations for this year.

One is very much Disney inspired and wanted the classic 'magical' look, the other something more traditional and incorporating her favourite flower, dahlias.

Here is a sneak peek at my wonderful Auntie's wedding invitations - don't want to show too much as they haven't been sent yet!
