🐱💜 Fancy learning something new, meeting friendly people and helping cats and kittens at the same time?

The Cats Protection Online Retail Hub in Midsomer Norton is looking for new volunteers this summer, and we'd love to welcome more people from our local community to the team!

You absolutely don't need to be an expert in computers, eBay or online selling to get involved. In fact, we'd especially love to hear from people who are curious about online sales but perhaps have never had the confidence, skills or opportunity to try it themselves.

We can help you learn at your own pace, whatever your age or experience. 💻✨

You might learn how to photograph donated treasures, research unusual and interesting items, create online listings and discover how a busy online retail operation works—all while helping turn donated items into vital funds for the welfare of cats and kittens. 🐾

There are so many ways you could help:

📸 Learn product photography and help donated treasures look their best.

🔍 Research unusual items, from vintage fashion and collectables to jewellery, technology and wonderfully unexpected finds!

💻 Build valuable IT, eBay and online selling skills, even if you've never sold anything online before or don't currently feel confident using technology.

📦 Help behind the scenes with sorting, organising and keeping our busy online operation running smoothly.

🧹 Even helping us clean and tidy makes a genuine difference, freeing up valuable time to turn more donated treasures into funds for cats and kittens.

🤝 Build confidence, learn new skills and become part of a friendly and supportive team.

No experience? No problem. Not confident with technology? That's absolutely fine too. You don't need to arrive knowing what to do—we'll help you learn and build confidence along the way.

And every bit of help has a purpose. 💜🐾

Every photograph taken, every item researched, every listing created, every parcel prepared and every bit of cleaning, tidying or organising helps us raise vital funds to improve the welfare of cats and kittens who need us.

With the school summer holidays approaching, we'd also love to hear from young people and families looking for meaningful ways to gain experience, build confidence and make a difference. We're also exploring opportunities for those completing the volunteering section of their Duke of Edinburgh's Award, with more information to follow soon.

💜 You don't have to know everything. You don't have to be confident with computers. You just need to be willing to give it a try—and we'll help you from there.
