It’s with very heavy hearts that we’re sharing this news…😪
💥This weekend at Pembrey for their St David’s Day Food & Drink Festival will be our last ever event !!💥
After nearly 8 wonderful years, we have made the incredibly difficult decision to close The Fudge Foundry. With the ongoing economic situation, the rising costs of chocolate and ingredients, increased packaging prices, higher rent, energy bills and general overheads, it has sadly become unsustainable for us to continue. Like so many small independent businesses, we’ve done everything we can to absorb rising costs, but the margins have become tighter and tighter.
This isn’t the ending we hoped for, but we are so proud of everything we’ve built over the years. From our very first event to all the markets and festivals, and all the loyal customers we’ve met along the way — you have made this journey unforgettable.
While this chapter is coming to a close, we are looking forward to spending more time with our family — something that running a small business doesn’t always allow. That is the silver lining in all of this.
We also want to say a huge thank you to all the incredible traders and retailers we’ve worked alongside over the years. Many of you have become like family to us. The early mornings, long weekends, laughs, support and friendships are something we will always treasure.
And to every single customer who has supported us — whether you bought once or came back time and time again — thank you. Every purchase, recommendation, message and smile has meant more than you know.
If you’d like to see us one last time, please come along to Pembrey this weekend and help us celebrate what has been an amazing chapter of our lives ❤️
From the bottom of our hearts — thank you.🙏🌟
