Some fascinating facts I have learned from this book this afternoon;
🎵 F and a B played together signals chaos, evil and doom, it’s so alarming it’s often used in sirens for emergency vehicles and medieval composers avoided it wherever possible calling it ‘the devil in music’
🎵 The lowest note ever detected in the universe came from a black hole - a million, billion times lower than the human ear can hear
🎵 There is a horn so loud it comes with a safety warning - vuvuzelas played at close range can actually deafen a person!
So many facts in this book - 100 in fact!
I think books like this are great to get reluctant readers into reading - a child might be naturally musical but not into reading but this might sway them as it’s something that interests them.
