Where has the sun gone? We really have been spoiled with this amazing weather recently. I’ve been sitting in the garden after work crocheting, bliss.

This little pair are off to their new home today and another order ticked off the list. White and lemon are so fresh don’t you think? Work again today for me and going to the Garden Club tonight. I’m quite excited as hubby picked up sleepers for my raised veggie plot yesterday. Can’t wait to grow my own vegetables again. I’ll update with progress soon 🥔🫜🧄🥕.

Finished this wee beauty yesterday and found the perfect buttons for it. Little Collar Cardigan by Kerry Jayne Designs with the collar from Little Bow Cardie I love this colour 💜 and as I’ve lost the ball band I can’t share sorry. Back to work this morning for me whatever your plans have a good one.

Had a lovely lunch out with hubby yesterday then home to crochet watching Nashville and finish off this wee cutie. Bobtail again by Kerry Jayne Designs in lemon finished by adding a bear button. Cute 🐻 Suns making an appearance today and it’s my day off. Whatever your plans today, enjoy.

Yesterday ended up totally miserable and so cold. A new baby girl will be cosy in this set that is on its way to one of my lovely friends.
I’ve used bobtail cardigan pattern by Kerry Jayne Designs and added the collar from Little Ted Cardi. Set complete with bobtail hat and a homemade pom pom. Work for me today. Whatever your plans stay warm, much love Ali 💖

I have been asked on several occasions now to make cuddly toys.

I DO NOT make toys due to the strict regulations.

Selling handmade crochet or knitted toys in the UK requires legal compliance with UKCA marking ensuring safety under EN71 standards.

Makers must perform and document tests for flammability EN71-2, physical safety EN71-1 (tension/seam strength), and chemical safety EN71-3 (safe materials).

Everytime you make a new toy or use different yarn these tests need to be redone.

If you are purchasing handmade toys please look for the safety tag which should be clearly attached to the item.

Happy Good Friday this year seems to be flying by, not enough crochet hours in the day at the moment. Thought I’d share this blue bear hoodie I finished recently. Crocheted in King Cole Aran, those ears 💙
