🩷 Vintage Lace Romper Crochet-Along – Part 5 🩷

One of my favourite things about designing a crochet pattern from scratch is watching it slowly transform from a simple collection of stitches into something beautiful and wearable. 🧶✨

🩷 Vintage Lace Romper Crochet-Along – Part 3 🩷
The neckband is finally complete! Today I've been working through the final rows of front and back post stitches to create this beautiful ribbed texture around the neckline.
Before moving on to the next stage, I always compare my work against a reference garment to make sure the measurements are staying on track. Designing a pattern from scratch is a process of creativity, patience, and plenty of measuring! 🧶📏✨
Tomorrow, we'll start shaping the shoulders, and I can't wait to see this little romper continue to take shape.

It’s been a little quiet here the last couple of days ☀️
This heatwave has turned me from crochet maker into full-time baby cooling assistant 😂
Fans, cold bottles, splash play and trying to keep little one comfy has definitely been the priority.
Back to creating soon though — and I’ve got lots of cosy handmade pieces planned 💕
