I stumbled across this picture today from January 2018 - this was when I decided I was going to learn to crochet. I found a few YouTube videos and away I went.

I could not for the life of me learn how to do a chain, and then crochet into that chain. I was crocheting so tight. So I decided to start with something else, a granny square blanket. And this here is my first attempt 🥰🥰

8 years on and I am still crocheting blankets, and I'm so glad I was patient enough to learn.
