Nav Durga - The Living Goddesses

The Navratri days – highly devotional and divine; The goddess mother’s love making all ever-shine. She is worshipped, adored and adorned exquisitely; The devotees singing her glory magnanimously.

The first goddess Shailputri – the daughter of Himalaya;
An Embodiment of trinity and famous for Shiv Sadhana.
The vehicle bull symbolizes the power from Almighty;
The trident symbolizing knowledge weapon; Lotus for Purity.

The goddess Brahmacharini – the austerity personified;
The vice-less life – an example and redefined.
Practice of Rajyoga making her bestower of Happiness; The Bond with Supreme – making her blissful goddess.

Chandraghanta – the goddess of tranquility and prosperity;
Her vehicle lion signifying fearlessness and bravery. The half-moon on forehead symbolizes the coolness; An embodiment of great strength to conquer vices.

Kushmandaa – the fourth goddess connotes little warmth cosmic egg;
Enlightened from the sun of knowledge, she lights the universe.
Her weapons glitter and rosary stand for bead of rosary through wisdom; The vehicle lion symbolizing the fruition – Golden Aged Kingdom.

Lord Kartikeya’s mother – Skanda Mata – The fifth goddess;
She is bestower of boons and fruitions through Godly prowess.

The sixth goddess – Katyayini symbolizing the chakra of obedience;
The obedient child of God is blessed with charismatic fragrance. Strict abidance of Shrimat frees their grief, disease and sorrow; Symbol of attainment of prime status in world of tomorrow.

The seventh goddess – Kalratri symbolizing the Kali form against vices;
Her dark complexion, disheveled hair – terrific form under Godly advice. The fearless posture – symbol of courage and fearlessness;
The iron like weapon inspiring one to be firm with toughness.

The eighth goddess – Mahagauri – has all goodness and beauty;
Which she attains through Godly remembrance and purity. Wears white clothes and has damaru of sharing of wisdom; She is bestower of boons and inheritor of heavenly kingdom.

The ninth goddess Siddhidatri – the bestower of divine powers;
Through Godly shower of knowledge, remains as ever blissful tower. Shares with all saints, yogis and devotees – the pearls of Godly nectar; The female medium of Incorporeal God entitling Him to be Ardhnarishwar.
Let’s ignite the darkness of ignorance and become incarnation of power, Through the true virtues of soul, every woman will be Shakti Avatar.
