I had one of those little moments today. ๐ฅน๐ฉท
Yesterday 2 orders came through and 3 of my candles were bought.
That might not sound like a massive number to some people, but when you're a small business and it's YOU making them, labelling them, packing them, taking the photos, posting on Instagram, worrying whether anyone is actually seeing any of it... every single order feels bloody special.
And then I read the messages people leave me.
Someone telling me my candles make their home feel cosy.
Someone coming back after buying from me at a Christmas market last year.
Someone telling me the scents actually bring them comfort.
That's the bit that gets me.
Because you could buy a candle absolutely anywhere.
But you chose one that I made with my own two hands, in my little workspace at home. Then it ends up burning in YOUR home, becoming part of your evenings, your quiet moments, your little bit of peace when life feels too bloody loud.
I don't think that will ever feel normal to me.
So whether you've bought one candle, come back for another, recommended me to someone, shared a post, left me a lovely message or you've just been quietly following along...
Thank you. Genuinely. ๐ฉท
I notice it.
And it means more than you probably realise.
Now I'm going to stop being soppy before I bloody cry. ๐๐ฉท
And if you've got an In The Air candle at home, tell me which one โ I'd genuinely love to know. ๐
