We do love a gurgle jug at G Dad's. And judging by how quickly they disappear, so do you!

This particularly cute vintage Fosters Studio Pottery fish jug comes in gorgeous, rich earthy tones and has all the character you'd expect from a fish whose entire job is to make funny noises when you pour water. 😂
Made in Cornwall, England, with the maker's mark to the base, it's a lovely little piece of British studio pottery.

Perfect for collectors, quirky kitchens, or anyone who believes tableware should have a personality.

If you want this fish, don't leave him swimming around for too long. Our gurgle jugs have a habit of disappearing!

This beautiful heavy cream-coloured bust of Queen Victoria is the sort of piece that instantly gives a room a bit of presence.

Sometimes we get an item into G Dad’s and think, “Well… someone is going to know exactly what to do with that.”

This vintage oversized wooden bobbin, complete with metal interior and fitting to one end, is wonderfully industrial and full of age-earned character.

Use it as an unusual decorative piece, add it to a collection of textile or industrial history, or get creative and give it an entirely new purpose.

We’re already imagining it styled on a shelf amongst old books and curiosities. 👀

🎪 1970 Called. It Would Like Its Childhood Back. 🎪

There’s something wonderfully nostalgic about a proper Jack-in-the-Box, although we’re not entirely sure why generations of children collectively agreed that something suddenly launching out of a box was fun. 😂

This fantastic 1970 Fisher-Price Jack-in-the-Box was made in Great Britain and comes complete with its original maker’s details to the side.

Perfect for vintage toy collectors, Fisher-Price fans, or anyone who fancies finding out whether it’s still possible to be startled by a toy at your age.
Spoiler: it absolutely is.
