IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT After 14 wonderful years, I’ve decided to wind down Carol Tye Designs. ❤️
I am incredibly grateful for your kindness, orders, and support over the years—it has truly meant the world to me.
My Etsy shop will stay open until my remaining fabric stock is gone, though availability will be limited and delivery times longer.
Moving forward, my Instagram will shift toward general sewing, creativity, and lifestyle content.

The pattern placement isn’t quite what I planned but it wasn’t easy.

My daughter in law gave me this beautiful dress from Desigual to use the fabric.
I decided to cut the top rushed section off and made wider straps from the spare fabric.
A really simple adaption made into a wearable dress for me.
