Not all canvas prints are created equal!

Our customer had the top canvas printed by an online retailer and came to us for a reprint as it had so badly faded.

Before printing we made a few edits to really bring out the best in the image:
Enhanced the colours and contrast for a richer start
Removed distracting creases from the suits
Completely replaced the background window reflections.

Our canvases are created with archival materials and heat sealed for extra durability, they will truly last a lifetime.

We often compare results from multiple pieces of software, combining different elements and making manual adjustments, to make sure we have your loved ones looking like themselves and not an eerie impersonator!

Jobs like this are good for my soul 🥰
A dear regular of ours bought this in last week. It was taken 61 years ago and shows her mum, who recently passed away, with her twin sisters.
It's been lovely to hand her back a really beautiful copy of a memory she thought might be too faded and damaged to restore.
I dare say the results are almost as good as the home made pate she gave us for Christmas!

A little job we completed last week.
In trying to find out a little more about the photo I learned that goalkeepers in the 1920s wore thick white knitwear to keep them warm and provide a little padding if they had to dive for the ball. Very useful information that helped me decide on the kind of texture the completely faded jumper needed!

We paid very special attention to the faces on this one, utilising several pieces of software to ensure that every individual was true to life.
