After the previous workshop, I received a really lovely message from a regular customer:“This was a really peaceful class.”
Peaceful. What a beautiful word🩵

It reminded me why I started my own painting practice in the first place.
Every so often, my mind is filled with noise that I just can’t switch off. It leaves me feeling anxious and helpless. But the moment I pick up my paintbrushes, something magical happens. Everything becomes quieter. Slower. Peaceful.

And when we all paint together, with the room filled only with peaceful silence, is something I’m truly grateful for.💜💜💜

My next workshop will be on 5th July, where we‘ll be painting beautiful lotus flowers together.
It will be my last workshop of the summer, and I’d be delighted to share this peaceful afternoon with you. Hopefully, I‘ll see you there. 🪷

Step into the beauty of traditional Chinese painting this June.

In this workshop, we will explore the theme of “Wisteria & Birds,” (紫藤与飞鸟)learning the basic techniques and composition of Chinese flower-and-bird painting.

Discover the subtle beauty of colour transitions in Chinese painting through layers of ink and pigment, capturing the elegance of cascading wisteria and the lively spirit of birds.

No previous painting experience is needed, just come and enjoy a calm, creative afternoon immersed in the peaceful rhythm of brush and ink.

Another year at the Saltaire Arts Trail, what an incredible 3 days! There were such supportive staff and volunteers, a lovely host, and so many familiar and new faces. It’s always such a special experience for me.

This year I exhibited with two amazing artists .xart three of us from completely different cultural backgrounds,at different stages of life, and each with our own way of expressing art. But honestly? I absolutely loved sharing this experience with those two girls. Thank you both for making these three days so full of fun, and beautiful memories!

Hiiii 🌿

I know I’ve been a bit quiet recently… I’m currently traveling in Yunnan, China with my parents. Yunnan is known for its rich cultural diversity and breathtaking natural landscapes—and honestly, it feels like such a healing place to be.

One of the calmest moments for me has been sitting beneath bamboo forests, listening to the wind moving through the leaves… It brings me back to where my journey with traditional Chinese ink painting began.

When I first started, I spent nearly half a year just practicing bamboo. There’s something so deeply captivating about it—learning balance, expressing strength through soft brushstrokes, and creating depth and beauty using only black ink.

I truly can’t wait to share this mindful and beautiful practice with you all. 🖌️
