Didn’t occur to me to mention new releases earlier this eve: I have five of the SOLD OUT ONLINE Custodes Support Battle Group sets going on the shelves at 12pm Saturday, first-come first-served. Mine are at 80% rrp, so £116. There’s also some fancy dice at £22.80 a pot, and a small selection of the Battle March army sets, all available on launch day.

Well, it’s an odd little re-stock this week: had my mind on other things.
A lot of LotR still to work through (including a very nicely painted evil army, that I’ll admit m to keep together).
Minimal on the 40K and AoS: but there’s Nagash and plenty of boney guys to work with.

On a bit of a mission this week: building this 3.5m long storage with hinged top. Rudimentary woodwork time. It will accommodate all the paintings and sculpture from my past life as an artist … but most importantly, gives us a room back to display cool & weird things, and extra space if needed for events 👍
Means I’m a touch distracted at the moment, so might have a knock-on effect on the weekly restock pics tonight.

A different few days so far this week: putting some energy into solving a problem that is regularly on my mind.

I need to find my gallery again, by re-distributing the copious amount of stuff that has found its way into that room. This job will have priority over the next couple of weeks, particularly as I’d like to find space for a couple of extra tables on the gaming days we’ll be hosting.

First stage of the job: build a storage plinth to accomodate my artwork. This has meant a trip under the floor to redirect some wiring. Cobwebs aplenty, and definitely not the most pleasant space to be in. Curious to know what the rollers came from that are scattered over the floor: though not curious enough to attempt to drag one out!

That’s a long way around explaining why I’m only adding a few (new sealed old stock) paints into the store tomorrow at £1.50/£2 apiece.
