WE ARE HIRING 🐮‼️

We are looking for a member of staff to join our Feel Good Farming Team. We are looking for someone to cover Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. There will also be weekend work required. Days will be 9am - 5pm. This role will be mainly based working in our shop. These days will be flexible to fit around our existing staff members.

Requirements for the role:
- Be reliable and on time
- Happy to be customer facing, and be warm and welcoming to customers
- This will be working sole charge a lot of time so need someone trustworthy
- Farming/food interest would be helpful but not essential
- Some accounts admin may also be involved so willingness to be adaptable

Superpower: Magically disappears off a list any time Farmer Adam is looking to see who isn't quite performing with their milk (she might have my help with that one)
Loves a cuddle, produces amazing calves and is the best mum.

Behind every litre of our milk is a real family, real farm and real cows! Every litre you buy makes a real difference!

PS Masie is due her calf soon so we will keep you updated!

ITS HERE!!!

We have now restocked on our fresh meat from our farm!🥩

We have got loads of lovely stuff in, fresh steaks, mince, square sausage and much more…

The shop has also had a fresh delivery of veg- you can get everything you need all at once 🥩🥦

THE PUMPKIN PATCH IS LIVE 🎃🎃

Why not come and give us a try this year? We have got lots to keep the children entertained including face painting, games, crafting and not to mention pumpkin picking! You also might be able to catch our amazing cows and turkeys we have on farm!

Don't worry we have the adults covered too with hot drinks, food and cake!

1 ticket per car (max of 7) and you get a pumpkin with your ticket. FIRST 100 CUSTOMERS GET AN EXTRA FREE PUMPKIN 🎃

We are also doing accessible mornings which will be the 9 - 10:30. These will be for children who struggle in the big crowds and loud noises, we will run these at half capacity. We will do our best to keep these a calm relaxed environment. Please leave these slots for those children.

The night pumpkin will involve lots of glow in the dark paints & head torches so come prepared for a spooky evening!

As we are in the full swing of Freds Poultry farming career we thought we would add to this... WE HAVE CHICKENS! 🐔🐥

These hens will live in a little mobile hen unit that will be moved around our farm behind where the cows graze. They will be let out every day rain or shine. They can do lots of amazing things with our soils, and we think they will be a great addition.

Fred is taking it all very seriously, yesterday evening homework involved counting how many eggs he had got! (the answer went past how many fingers he had so got a wee bit tricky)

We are going to forget the buzz words like free range, outdoor raised and just tell you we can promise our hens will:
1. have the option to go out to grass every day no matter the weather
2. have two tiny humans obsess over them & their every need.
3. All eggs now sold will be produced at Old Newton, Moffat, DG10 9LT.

Now you don't get those promises at supermarkets! Let's get behind Freds eggs!

Fred has decided he no longer wants to be a cow farmer, turkey farmer is the way forward. Their first venture onto grass!
