We’re officially out of the office for the full Bank Holiday weekend, taking a very well-deserved break from 28th August until 1st September ☺️💙
If you see us active online, don’t worry — this is just us organising upcoming bookings and taking care of all those little behind-the-scenes details that no one else sees. There’s a lot of love, care and time that goes into planning everything, and even when we’re away enjoying ourselves, we never completely switch off! ☺️

We’re leaving you with an unseen picture of our very special, custom-made bear who recently arrived with us. He also loves a little vacation… and, of course, a marmalade sandwich! 🥰🐻🍊

⚠️⚠️⚠️ SAFETY WARNING⚠️⚠️⚠️

We're excited to announce that Blue Duo Events can now offer bouncy castle hire on hard-standing surfaces such as tarmac, concrete, and artificial grass! 🥳

After having to turn away so many bookings this summer because we couldn't legally and safely install our inflatables on hard-standing surfaces, we took the time to research the best solution. Following careful consideration, we've invested in the correct equipment so we can now offer this service safely and professionally.

Did you know that, to safely secure a bouncy castle outdoors on hard surfaces each anchor point requires the equivalent of 8 x 20kg weights? That's why simply using one 20kg sandbag per anchor point is NOT a safe or acceptable method.

At Blue Duo Events, we never cut corners when it comes to safety. Unfortunately, some companies do use insufficient weights for hard-standing hires, which can create a serious safety risk. We believe no booking is ever worth compromising the safety of our customers, especially children. If you're hiring a bouncy castle for a hard-standing surface, always make sure the company is using the correct anchoring system.

Some may think our approach is excessive, but we see it as taking pride in what we do and putting safety first. 🙌🏼

Our new water-weight anchoring system requires access to a water supply, along with a little extra setup time. Each weight takes around 10 minutes to fill, meaning setup takes approximately 60 minutes in total. To cover the additional time and equipment, we charge just £10 for this service 🥳

Safety has always been, and always will be, our top priority. 😊
