Tonight I nearly became the star of a neighbourhood watch WhatsApp group. 🤦‍♀️

Came out of the shop and Eve called to say she and Paul were waiting outside. I crossed the road, opened the car door and was just about to get in when I noticed the driver's arm.

That's odd, I thought. Paul doesn't have tattoos...

It was only when the very confused man looked at me and said, "Wrong car," that I realised I was attempting to join a complete stranger's evening plans.

Mortified, I crossed back over to find our actual car. Then, just as I reached it, Paul drove a few metres down the road... right in full view of the man whose car I'd just tried to get into.

So from his perspective, I'd been standing outside our shop, unsuccessfully trying to get into one random car, then loitering for a bit before getting into another.

I can only assume he's currently describing me to his family as "the weird woman from earlier." 🚗😂

Meet the Team 👋

For those who don't know us or are just new to our page, we're a true family business. It's me, Emma, my husband Paul, and our 17-year-old daughter Eve behind the scenes (and often on the shop floor too!).

We've been proudly serving Mold for the last 10 years, and we're proud to call Mold home as well. This isn't just where we work, it's where we live, where we've raised our family, and where we've built our business from the ground up.

Being named Independent Retailer of the Year recently was a huge honour, but what means the most to us is the support and loyalty of our customers over the years. Many of you started as customers and have become friends, which is something we're incredibly grateful for.

Thank you for supporting a local, independent family business for the last decade. We couldn't have done it without you, and we're excited for many more years to come.
