Hi all just a quick message From SANTA
He has hiven his christmas dinner elves this year off so there will NOT be christmas lunch at the Daniel owen this year! A few have messaged and asked so i messaged the lovely amazing Mold & Buckley Round Table to ask for you. I do know that Spoons and forks are doing a collection on xmas eve if anyone is interested?

Thank You to the Brand family, that includes paul, Dave, the lady who’s name I don’t know, Given To Shine and ALL who sponser and support the “stop food going in to land fill” Free Food Christmas Eve event. It makes a difference to so so many! Every year we see more people who need that little bit extra and with it being FREE, key word there, we know families will be well fed AND saved so much food from going to landfill! It’s amazing! So Thank You Everyone for all the parts you play! X###

These lads, ladies and children do a phenomenal Christmas Day! Full on entertainment, waiting on and of course Christmas Dinner! Amazing Chefs! So Please, please if you know someone who may benefit from an amazing 3 course meal, excellent company and an alllll round amazing day please, please let them know about Christmas Day lunch at the Daniel Owen!
We can also pick up and take home.

The Round Table lads are hard at our putting the final touches to our Christmas Day dinner.

For the third time we will be hosting anyone who would be alone or otherwise without Christmas Dinner on Christmas Day, at the Daniel Owen Centre Cafe.

A huge thank you to Castell Howell, Bwydydd Oren Foods, Tesco in Mold, Polly's Brew Co. and David Joinson Quality Meats for helping supply us with lots of the food and drink we will be serving on the day.

There's still spots available, so if you're looking like you might be alone on Christmas Day, please message us, and join us for some good food and company!

For the third year, we will once again be hosting our Christmas Day Dinner, open to anyone who might be alone, or would otherwise struggle to have a proper Christmas Dinner on Christmas Day.

So if you know anyone who will be alone on Christmas Day, please get in touch, and we'll get them booked in, well fed and with plenty of company!

Please contact the marvellous Mold & Buckley Round Table if you have any questions about the Christmas Day Lunch. Also please direct your dietary requirements to them as I can’t answer all the questions asked but I can a few. And yes if anyone needs lifts also please ask the wonderful volunteers and if you are lucky enough you may get ME and my decorated car with Tunes again! 😂🤣
Also I know the team need some donations so please keep an eye out for the list and if anyone can help with anything I know they would be extremely grateful!

A lot of our posts recently have obviously been about our Santa sleigh routes, but we've also been working hard in the background on our Christmas Day meal at the Daniel Owen Centre Cafe.

If you're likely to be alone on Christmas Day, or know someone who might be, or for whatever reason you might not be having a proper Christmas Dinner, then please get in contact with us to book in!

We've had some really generous donations of money and produce as well as being inundated with people wanting to give up their own time on Christmas Day. What an incredible community event this is once again shaping up to be!
