Once in a while, a book comes along that REALLY makes you sit up and take notice….this is one of them! With a 10 and 12 year old who are so much more tech savvy than me, I think this will be very helpful….as much for their parents as themselves!! 🙈🤣 Ordering this week if anyone else would like a copy??

It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything on here. In truth, like many people, I’ve been completely overwhelmed by life in general and I had to ‘put something down’. As a mum of 3 and additional support needs teacher 4 days a week, I simply didn’t have the head space ‘to do any Usborne’. And that’s ok. The beauty of this wee book thing, is that I CAN put it down and pick it up as I need to. It’s nearly 10 years since I signed up and it has served me & my family so well and I think I’m now in the place where it will just be a wee sideline. I’m very grateful for those regular customers and team members who have stood by me and those that have been in touch. I adore the books….I’ll just maybe not be posting quite so much or ordering as regularly. (I absolutely LOVE my ASN teaching job; it makes my heart sing…..but it’s also very energy consuming….especially in these crazy times of Covid)

For now, the sun is shining and I have a new notebook and favourite pen and I’m going to make some lists. Some life related, some Usborne related and I’ll see where things go. ❤️📚❤️Rona

JUST MOVE THE ELF…

I mean, don’t fall into the trap of creating fabulous scenarios and mind-blowing montages.
Don’t go down a Pinterest wormhole and start comparing your efforts to others and wrapping the entire house in paper to delight.
If you want to do that, great!
But if you're tired, busy and overwhelmed…

Just move the elf.

The kids will be delighted to see where they show up tomorrow.
And if they’re not, you may get away with not doing it all next year!
You have enough on your plate.

Just move the elf.

Christmas is no fun with a stressed-out parent.
Save your sanity.

Keep peace and the joy at the forefront,
step away from the over-the-top displays…

My mini and I are at Wellbank hall this morning. This is the only fair I’m doing this year but as it’s for my daughter’s fabulous dance school, I can’t miss it! Some LOVELY stalls here too….and some dancing to come! Happy Saturday everyone ❤️📚❤️Rona

The wait is finally over!So excited to share that the fabulous Advent Calendar Book Collection has arrived and will be available to order today.
