We’ve been featured on this week with a summery shoot from last May. I loved working on this, and I created a new Collection for it which will be coming to my website soon; it’s full of Summer colour and the option of completely hand-written text.

This was such a gorgeous shoot - I adore the ethereal floral arrangements and pops of vibrant yellow blooms. I am so thankful to have been a part of it.

Long time, no speak! Big news ahead! I am very aware of the fact I’ve not been around on here since last July, but I have been hiding away in my studio working super hard on all of your gorgeous weddings, and haven’t had enough energy to appear on here! I have been worried that by posting on here I’m misleading people into thinking I have space in the diary. Worrier? Me?!

It’s been an incredibly hectic year, which I’m really, really thankful for, but it’s also led me to re-evaluate and realise that I need to make a big shift in how I work. I’m still on my bespoke pause, as I announced last June (though still working through bookings!) but I have decided I’ll likely be re-introducing these at a very limited capacity later in the year. I’ll announce information for this over the next month or so. I’m also going to be closing my web-shop for a little bit, whilst I update my Collections and photograph a couple that I designed last year but haven’t got to photographing yet. You’re still very welcome to purchase Collections over email, but the web shop will be temporarily coming down over the next couple of days. I’m also going to be reducing my studio hours here to a few days a week as I also run another illustration business which needs my time and I think set days is the best way to separate them. I’ve been working organically for years, and this little business has grown more quickly than I had ever expected, but that also means I need to take a little time to make sure I’m steering the ship a bit more consciously, and make sure that all of my processes and systems are in order before I keep on sailing!

I’m excited to make this shift, it’s been a long time coming, and I hope this way I’ll be able to offer even more special bespoke work and more new customisable Collections with smoother and simpler processes. I’ve got soo much to show you - I’ve got hundreds of goodies to photograph, and so many ideas that I can’t wait to share. Thank you for your support, as always! ✨

I’m working through lots of lovely on-the-day stationery at the moment - the feasts you’re all having look wooooonderful! These are the menus and name cards from J + F’s wedding - and, if you scroll, I also made some little signs for their guest book and gifts.

I get asked about signage a lot and I make signage for most weddings! We can do tiny little A6 cards or huge fabric hangings - these are using the Floral Brights Collection, perfect for these sunny days! ☀️

I absolutely loved Ffion & Jack’s Order of Service - it was an amazing 12 pages printed in lovely green ink to match the rest of the stationery. It was one of the biggest booklets I’ve done but it didn’t feel like a lot as they chose to space everything out across the pages and let it all have space. I always recommend checking with whoever is performing your ceremony to check that they’re also happy with the layout of the order booklet because they’re writing and creating it so it’s important everyone is happy. I always send digital proofs so it’s worth forwarding them on!

This was again part of the Floral Brights Collection with a customisation to include a green text.

I’m sharing a semi-bespoke suite tonight - the lovely Ffion & Jack’s invitations! They were married last week at . We used the Floral Brights Collection as a base, and used green text to go with their colour scheme. We also added a venue illustration on the top of the invitation which carried through to their Table Plan. It was brilliant because I got to deliver their on-the-day goodies in person so I finally got to meet them after chatting for 18 months over email - so lucky to work with such lovely people!

The eagle-eyed amongst you will see that this invitation says ‘May’ and that’s because they had to postpone!

Although A+M went for a bespoke invitation and Order of Service, they chose to customise the Contemporary Venue Collection for their menus and name cards as they liked the simplicity of the designs. We changed the text to the gorgeous blue in their invitations, and added .court to the top. They were also printed on watercolour cardstock to match the invitations, rather than the handmade paper the Collection was originally designed on (you can do this with all of the Collections on handmade paper!)

They chose to have folding name cards which haven’t been requested in a very long time - and they looked lovely! Usually I make flat cards which sit on napkins or tie onto favours. Which do you prefer? Flat or folded?

Alex & Michael got married at .court yesterday - these are their bespoke invitations. They had gatefold invitations with a panoramic painting inside which features illustrations of them, their sheep, and dog. The front of the invitation featured Dewsall Court and their lovely pooch again, and the reverse had a painting of Pen Y Fan who also was in the background of the RSVP card. Here I’ve photographed them with the original paintings so you can see the progress. I loved creating these for them, and I will show you the rest of their on-the-day bits tomorrow! Interestingly they chose to use a Collection for those to go with the rest of the wedding day decoration.

A HUGE Happy Wedding Day to Alex & Michael, who were married at .court today - I’m so glad that the sun was shining for you! I thought I’d start by sharing the Order of Service, as it featured the gorgeous Lych Gate of Dewsall Church. My previous post was funnily enough the whole church! Swipe to see the painting next to the Order of Service. Note that I have edited out the surname which is why it looks a little strange.

I can’t wait to share their invitations tomorrow!

Ellie & Chris wanted some gifts for family members, and so we redesigned the Order of Service cover into a giclée print and framed them up. It was such a lovely idea of Ellie’s and I thought they looked lovely! This is Dewsall Church with their gorgeous cat sat in front, and their wedding flowers decorating the edges, framed in a solid wood frame.

Hello everyone! Thank you so much for your support recently as I close my bespoke books for the time being. I am still offering Collections and semi-bespoke (where you add illustrations to the Collections) but I’m not taking on any bespoke clients for the foreseeable future while I focus on all of my lovely couples that have booked in. I’m so thankful to you all, and I’m happy to have a chat through any ideas you might have!

I did a poll on my stories about whether to carry on sharing bespoke work and it was an overwhelming ‘yes’ - so I’ll carry on doing that as it might give you ideas for the semi-bespoke work. I’ve got so much from the last couple of years to photograph and show you!

I’m also still offering my ‘Rush Order’ stationery which you can see in my highlights - stationery designed for you and on your doorstep within 10 days.

I hope to create some new collections, I have one in the sidelines to finish off when things quieten a little. In the meantime, I’m going to try and be a bit more present on here and you can also find me over on my other illustration page 😊

Sending everyone only the best wishes. ✨

Happy Wedding Day to Ellie & Chris who were married at .court today! I absolutely loved designing their Order of Services - Ellie wanted these to be a surprise for the guests so we went all-out with beautiful botanically dyed bamboo silk ribbon from and a full page illustration featuring their gorgeous cat! 🐈

I hope you’ve had the absolute BEST day in this gorgeous sunshine! 🌞

Apologies to all for not being here very much, I’ll do a big post soon explaining what’s been going on behind the scenes. But in the mean time have a look at that colour match of the ribbon to the rose(!) I’m going to pretend it was purposeful but I was hopefulness that paid off! It came out perfectly - It’s always a little risky going for a complete colour match but I think it was worth it!
