John Douglas RIP. 😢 trashcan sinatras are truly one of Scotland’s great cult bands. Their new album 'Ever the Optimist' just came out last Friday and as usual contains great examples of John's songwriting and musicianship. Gone way too soon...

John Douglas, a songwriter and guitarist in the Scottish indie rock band Trashcan Sinatras, has died at the age of 62.

Glen Hansard, RIP. A real tragedy. He leaves behind a real legacy, one of the finest Irish songwriters of his generation.

Hansard, who was 56, won the best song Oscar for the 2007 low-budget musical film Once.
