We're really excited for what promises to be another very special Mo' Fidelity Nights gig at Montrose Playhouse Project on Monday 30th November as we appropriately mark St Andrew's Day with not one but two of Scotland’s finest songwriters. Alt-Folk singer-songwriter Jo Mango released her debut album in 2005 amd her newest 'The Lightswitch' earlier this year. Jo has written songs with acclaimed Scottish bands, such as Teenage Fanclub (Baby Lee) and Admiral Fallow (Beetle in the Box), and collaborated with artists such as Karine Polwart, Rachel Sermanni, Vashti Bunyan, Pictish Trail, RM Hubbert and Siobhan Wilson. As a performing member of Vashti Bunyan’s band she has played on countless legendary stages across the world including the Carnegie Hall (NYC) for David Byrne's Welcome to Dreamland alt-folk showcase. Mango’s recent work in theatre, includes co-devising and performing award-winning gig theatre show A Giant on the Bridge and working on songs for the National Theatre of Scotland's 100 Voices installation – winner of a Fringe First at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2026.

Louis Abbott is the lead singer and songwriter behind the fantastic Admiral Fallow who released their instant classic debut album 'Boots Met My Face' in 2010 and have released a further 4 albums since, the most recent of which, last year's 'First of the Birds' on Chemikal Underground is a shop favourite, full of their trademark big, joyful arrangements, tender lyrics and memorable hooks. Louis also works as a session musician, drummer, engineer and producer, and has collaborated with some of Scotland’s finest contemporary musicians and singers including Camera Obscura, Eddi Reader, King Creosote, Rachel Sermanni, Karine Polwart and Kris Drever.
