I’m a glass artist, and my working studio is right inside the shop, where you’ll often find me creating new pieces. Alongside my own glass art, I’m proud to showcase the work of so many incredibly talented local artists and makers, making the shop a place full of unique, handcrafted treasures.

Some gorgeous new pieces arrived in the shop yesterday from cesarhikes, including this beauty… 🤩

Just how stunning is this? ✨ Battery operated, so you can display it anywhere in your home without worrying about plugs or cables. It’s the perfect piece to add a little warmth and character to any space.

And, as always, it’s even more beautiful in real life than my less-than-perfect photos manage to show! 🤦‍♀️ Pop in to the shop and see it for yourself before it’s gone ❤️

Polly has been in today with a wonderful restock, bringing more of her stunning limited edition prints, a couple of her beautiful handcrafted lampshades, and some lovely new ceramic pieces.
Each piece reflects Polly's distinctive style and eye for colour, making them a beautiful addition to any home.

Sadly, my photography skills don't quite do them justice, so you'll have to trust me when I say they're even more beautiful in person! 🤦‍♀️

Note to self: Perhaps it's time to call in a professional photographer... 🤣

I'm delighted to welcome Hayley from Driftwood designs to Frit and Flux.
Hayley creates a beautiful collection of handcrafted driftwood pieces, from charming candle holders and unique doorstops to striking freestanding sculptures. Whether you're looking for a subtle coastal touch or a real statement piece, there's something to suit every home.
Using locally sourced driftwood, each piece is lovingly cleaned, dried, sanded and finished by hand before being transformed into artwork for both indoor and outdoor spaces.
Come along and discover Hayley's wonderful collection – each piece is completely unique, just as nature intended. 🌿

Gavin, from Etched & Crafted, called in with a restock of his delicious shortbread and some gorgeous new slate panels too.

He’s brought new shortbread flavours for you to try…..Lemon and Gin & Lemon 🍋

I’ve sampled both (no judgment please 🫣) and whilst they are both lovely, I’m a particular fan of the Gin & Lemon (again, let’s not be judgy 🤣)
Best be quick if you want some!
