I’m just putting some feelers out for anyone interested in some really lovely Dakota Mango wood furniture from Tradefurniture company I’ve put the original prices and description on just to show you what it’s going for. We’re looking at downsizing and we don’t need it now. The table and chairs have hardly been used as you can see just has a couple of little marks but nothing noticeable. It’s extremely heavy well made furniture so any interest please message me.
This is over £2000 worth of furniture when bought new and it’s all in excellent condition as you can see. Will sell separately so anyone interested please just message me 🙂

RANT THIS MORNING 🫤

Bit of a rant sorry !!
I’m in the shop this morning to get a few bits done.

Woman going past in conversation and the other person must have said “ oh they’re closing down”
All I heard was “ Well they’re never open anyway” 😡😡😡😡

Well Lady !!

The fact that for the past 3 years in this shop 2 years in the previous I’ve/we’ve been here 7 days a week sometimes and done nothing in sales!!!!
The fact that yes I might not be open at certain times because if you’re a sole trader relying on help from family/friend then there are times when it’s not possible to open or open at a set time so the fact that “you” may have passed at 9am in a morning or 4.30pm in an afternoon and we were closed then my apologies but just like you I have a LIFE I have to deal with.
Fact You don’t the circumstances of just how difficult it is and the reasons behind our openings but believe me I’ve practically lived here and many people will confirm that !

Enough is enough now and when you get comments like this it is hard to hear and I know I shouldn’t let it bother me but it does 😢😢 as we’ve worked so very hard to try and make it work but now we’re about to lose it all because people don’t/can’t use us.

HI EVERYONE

Well… not a post we wanted to be making but here goes 😞

Unfortunately we’ve had to make the heartbreaking decision to close the shop…
Same As It Never Was will be closing down in the coming weeks as unfortunately we just can’t keep it going anymore as it’s not been making enough to pay the bills for a while now. Not only that but we have other things going on which will need/always take priority.

We will continue online and I’ll pass all the details on once we have it all set up.

It’s really hard as we love what we do and we love the people we’ve met and become friends with over the years so it’s going to be difficult for us.

Our days from this point on will be varied during closure but you can always message on here or ring me and I’ll let you know about days/hours etc.

I hope everyone stays in touch and I’ll keep the page going for any enquiries and updates etc. and our engraving and personalised items @ Etch Me Happy will still be available.

Thank you to everyone who’s supported us in the town centre over the last 5 years it’s been tough going but glad we got to meet so many of you lovely people.

Hi Everyone,

Just to let you know the hours and opening times will vary now up until the 9th July as I’m away visiting family in Canada.
My granddaughter Olivia and my friend Simone will be in the shop covering for me but any queries will still reach me if you message or WhatsApp me.
We’ll be closed tomorrow Monday 22nd June and then back open Tuesday 23rd but then hours/times will vary so my apologies for any inconvenience.
