Log Delivery Changes for Spring & Summer - collections only after 31st March
We hope you’re keeping safe, well and warm.
As we move towards spring and the demand for logs reduces, we will be scaling back our deliveries and after the end of March we will no longer be delivering logs, although we will continue our collection service.
As many of you are aware, your log orders are delivered by the Cotswold Seeds team and as demand from farmers increases for the busy spring sowing season, we are unable to fulfil log orders reliably at the same time. The added pressures and complications of social distancing make it harder to efficiently manage logs when we are so busy with both businesses. We know that both our logs and seed customers value our efficient service so we don’t want to risk compromising this under pressure, particularly with current COVID-19 restrictions in place.
You’ll still be able to collect logs from our warehouse in Moreton-in-Marsh throughout the year, and you can order as many logs as you need during the rest of the winter providing we can deliver before the 31st March. We will be delivering within a twenty mile radius of Moreton-in-Marsh and stacking outdoors (in garages, logs stores and sheds) as usual, so there’s plenty of time to stock up - and stack up! For safety, we are still unable to stack logs inside customer houses.
We hope to restart our full delivery schedule as demand increases again late autumn.
