Roger and I are delighted to let you all know that we are starting a new chapter in our lives. Over the next couple of days, Down the Cove is transferring to new owners. This will give us more time to focus on our family and growing number of pets!

We would like to thank One and All for all the support and interactions over the past 12 years and we would also like to wish the new owners all the best for the future. We know that there are exciting times ahead for Down the Cove 👍🏻😊🥂

After a busy Easter with friends and family, normal service has resumed today in the office. Although, the dogs & I did just manage a walk on the cliff path, which was as fabulous as ever 😍

🎣 Sea Bass Fishing Regulations for 2025 🌊

The IFCA has issued updated rules for recreational fishers to protect sea bass stocks and promote sustainable fishing. Make sure to follow these key regulations:

📅 Key Dates
Jan 1 – Jan 31: Max 2 bass per angler per day
Feb 1 – Mar 31: Catch and release only
Apr 1 – Dec 31: Max 2 bass per angler per day

🛑 No bass can be taken using fixed or drift nets.

🛥️ Fishing from a boat or the shore? Handle sea bass carefully to ensure a high survival rate when releasing.
