With funding from locals, we built a community shop and café inside Amberley church To get involved or volunteer please message us.

Amberley is a wonderful place to live but our village shop closed in the summer of 2017. With funding from villagers, we are transforming part of the church into a community shop and cafe. Follow this page to get updates on progress.

Join us for a free storytelling session on Tuesday 11th August, 10 - 10.30am.

Sara will be reading a book with the theme of colours and crayons, then there will be colouring sheets and our usual collection of toys to play with.

TUesday Storytelling Club (TUSC), every Tuesday during the holidays, 10 - 10.30am @ Amberley Cafe . for children 2-4 but all welcome.

Story time once again, this weeks theme is sea shells 🐚 Join Deb for a story and some colouring, plus have a chance to touch some sea shells.

Our cake of the month for August is millionaire's shortbread from .

It is decadent baked treat made of three distinct layers: a crisp shortbread base, a soft and gooey caramel middle, and a smooth chocolate topping.

Like the original shortbread, the 'millionaire' version was thought to have been created in Scotland. It was a rich, luxurious upgrade created in the 1950s.

Join us for TUesday Storytelling Club (TUSC) once again. This coming Tuesday will be hosted by Deb with the theme of sea shells 🐚 Deb will even be bringing some in so you can hear the sea!

Tomorrow's TUesday Storytelling Club (TUSC) hosted by Bud will be on the theme fun at the seaside 🪣 🪏 ☀️ 🐚

For anyone who hasn't discovered this holiday gem, TuSC includes stories, colouring and stickers and a sing-along for youngsters. There's also a children's borrowing library in the cafe.

See you 10-10.30 tomorrow morning in the cafe. And, added bonus, the Salt Bakehouse van will be outside at the same time. 🥐🍞🥖
