Hello, sorry we've been a little quiet here lately but behind the scenes there is alot going on!

We have been truly saddened by the news that the beautiful Freya Bevan has had to go to America to receive further treatment, following the news that a new brain tumour has grown. Her family, friends and community have gone above and beyond to help raise the money that she so desperately needs to carry on treatment in America.

We have therefore been in touch with the very lovely and generous Flossy Teacake and have had a bespoke "Brave Lion" cushion made especially for Freya and "Brave Lion" badges to help towards the Freya Bevan fund and raise awareness.

I'm sure you will agree that children and adults alike would love to wear the "Brave Lion" badge to support such a worthy cause 🦁

So we have been brainstorming on how Valerie Dot can support Freya Bevan and her fight against cancer and came across this lovely and appropriate Brave Lion badge.
In the words of Flossy Teacake "50p from each badge goes to the wonderful Children’s Hospital charity. Illustrated Brave Lion fabric badge, stitched to felt and finished with a brooch back. Comes on packaging.Inspired by my little boy Finley who has undergone lots of treatment and appointments at the Sheffield Children’s Hospital. He is our brave little lion and continues to be. I made this thinking it’s a lovely badge to give to children or adults facing something a bit daunting (I always dread the blood tests with Finn) and it helps children to feel more confident."
