Good morning and Merry Christmas.
Apologies for not posting for a while and not serving you since the closure of the Arndale . We stayed open for as long as we possibly could . There has been a variety of reasons why we have not continued to trade , one of them being was that I got caught out with the superflu which knocked the stuffing out of me .
It has been my pleasure to serve you all , I have enjoyed every minute of it , though it hasn’t allways shown ! . Hopefully 2026 will bring new beginnings.
I would like to wish you all a merry Christmas , enjoy the time whichever way you celebrate.

Today the doors have shut for the final time at Allsorts , thank you to everyone of you loyal customers. I can still remember Shopfitting it and the very 1st day we opened . Customers were hesitant at first wondering whether we will stay the course or i am a fly by night. Well we have managed 16 years and been a great team together and helped in our own little way to keep Nelson alive and give a feel of community.
I use to bring my dad who was suffering dementia and park him
On the bench outside my shop, you made him feel welcome , thank you .
On a lighter note the last customer to be served by us and possibly in the centre was Dianne Muldoney a local photographer .

Good morning
Today is our last day trading in the arndale , it has been fabulous, we have enjoyed serving you all , getting to know you and would like to think we have built a reputation of trust and honesty and you will forgive my grumpiness at times .
As for the future it is a little bit up in the air at the moment , but I am not quite ready to hang up my hat just yet . Our page will remain open and will inform you all of what’s happening.
I wonder who will be the last person to be served in the Arndale. ?
