Well folks, we are packed and ready to trundle off in the early hours to Cleethorpes and Grimsby Toy Fair. If you are thinkinging of coming to the showroom...fear not, we are open 10am till 2pm ish...might be a bit later as Steve is going to wait for me to get back and unload!!! Well we are on our way to Northern Toy Fairs Glasgow show...but not before l had a trip out this morning to pick up some lovely rally slot cars, some driver signed stuff too.
Also the third of our Volvo emergency service vehicles has landed!!
We still have a house call to make before the day is out! We look forward to see everyone at Bellahouston tomorrow.

Hi folks, well l am having a day off...that gives me thinking time...which is always dangerous!
Also at 10.30 this morning l got a call from someone asking if we were open( they were sat outside having thought today was our Summer Jumble!)
This set me thinking. Would there be any interest if l opened the showroon some Sundays on the lead up to Christmas, say 10am till 2pm. I would appreciate your thoughts. Drop me a line on the this post or dm me on my Roger Barker Slors fb page.
This wouldn't affect us attending shows and swapmeets, but might make it easier for folks to get to see us. Go well everyone, have a great bank holiday!

Well folks, we have had a few days to reflect on our Slot Car Summer Jumble 2. Jussie has spirited every thing away...how he does it and where it goes is frankly a mystery! Suffice to say the unit is looking in excellent order.
So on the day, nearly 60 through the door ( 57 ) not including Jussie, myself or Keith ( another helper ), delighted with that, and folks travelled from as far a field as Newcastle north and Portsmoutj south...and most places in between too!
Only two event cars left, and the free prize draw again went down well. Thanks again to Simon at Scalextric for donating such a great prize, and delighted to say that a young lad called Ezra was the lucky winner...l can tell you his face was a picture! Here is hoping that days like this give him a lifetime of joy in a great hobby.
So moving on, we are open this weekend 10am till 5pm, the track will be on, and the kettle of course...more details of our next road trip very soon!
