🥳 Just a reminder that the showroom will be closed today Saturday the 15th August as the H&H family take a well earned weekend break from installing floors to Celebrate the wedding of Curtis & Emma.

We would like to give a massive show of appreciation to our hard working floor layers Joe, Curtis, Luke, Dylan, Dave and Sean who have battled with the heat 🥵 These past few weeks,working days, evenings and weekends has been very demanding trying to make sure your floors get installed to the highest of standards that you have come to expect from Newarks premier floor store.
It’s has been an incredibly busy summer this year as our reputation of delivering quality floors and delivering your vision stands before us.
Our showroom is fit to bursting with orders ready to go out over the next few weeks so please take into account if your thinking of having a new floor please plan ahead as we are now taking bookings into October !! Only the best and most experienced floor layers give this kind of finish on a staircase, that’s why we was approached by our client after recommendation and researching the high level of workmanship we deliver time after time.

Our client wanted a very niche product in Sisal with a herringbone design but also wanted a fabric border attached in colour raspberry to there quadruple staircase.
This is specialised work that requires specialised fitters as many floor layers swerve away from this kind of installation due to its no margin of error precise cutting and time consuming install.

Once again the material was bespoke fitted on top of Cloud 9 contact underlay then taken back up off of the staircase so we could attach the fabric border then return to our clients home and re-fit the product to the staircase.

This really is stunning and highly skilled work from our experienced team and we are delighted to say we delivered our clients vision once again!

Another neat bespoke stair runner fitted along with a bedroom in a herringbone design, measured and cut to fit down the centre of the case of which we then applied a fabric border to give some real character.
This style of insulation along with a full width fit and fabric border really is becoming increasingly popular through 2026.

To be invited on a stag doo to one of my most loyal floor layers Curtis for over 13 years means the world to me, to share it also with Luke and Joe also a massive part of the H&H family is special, I’m not the Boss I’m a friend and without these guys H&H would not exist and they are family to myself amd Joanne.

Another neat installation completed today in Abingdon Flooring’s Low level loop carpet called Country Collection in Herringbone colour Biscoti.

Another example of very neat bespoke carpet fitting completed today…
Our client approached us asking if we could inject some character to their staircase in their period property so we rewound the years and took it back to how it would have looked decades ago.

High end quality carpet Bakerloo by Telenzo made from 100% pure New Zealand wool was recommended in a pinstripe with a burst of colour, the carpet was bespoke measured and cut to size then we applied a fabric tape border to the stair runner in a complementing olive shade, then to finish the period design off we attached stair rods in a antique bronze colour.

The look on our clients face when she saw the finished look gives us huge job satisfaction and once again another delighted H&H client.
