Keep your doggies cool in this hot weather folks - makes these brilliant pet bowls with lids for travelling or home, so you always have supplies on hand, and your four legged friend can also look cool in her paracord collars and leads. 😃 😎 🐕

A quick switch up in Wednesdays Window today. The sun is showing off these mosaics, mandala pots and ceramics so well it was hard to get a photo of the window because of the reflections!

Very excited to have a big window feature of my work at Serendale in Newark.
If you look carefully and know me you’ll wonder why there is hardly any blue 💙 there! Well I can tell you that Newark favours red and yellow things! No I don’t know why either🧐.
At least that’s what a year trading there has told me 🙂

This week I’m making some red and yellow panels for a garden trellis (hmm there seems to be a pattern here 💛🧡❤️) Which I’ll share later.

*MEET OUR MAKERS*
I’m Marie from Lilac Dog Crafts and Gifts. I started my pyrography, Iris Folding & Paper quilling journey’s in the first Covid Lock Down. Having always enjoyed painting & drawing, I wanted to challenge myself by learning new crafts. In the beginning it was for my mental health, as crafting helps quiet & focus my mind but very soon I was being asked by people to create items & gifts for them. The name of Lilac Dog comes from one of my own dogs, who is always near by when I am working on my pieces, as he is naturally lilac in colour. I love working with wood, it is very tactile & so I try to incorporate it into my work whenever I can. If you like an item but would like it to be personalised for yourself or as a gift for a loved one, please just ask & I can work with you to create your own unique piece/gift.
