Such a lovely afternoon opening moving boxes and placing all our artefacts and props. I love my little bits, they really bring our home to life. Which one’s your favourite? Gotta love the parrots!

Great to be getting on with the chimney re build, recycling as many bricks as possible. Flue and stove time soon then the hunt for the perfect fire surround. Gonna be toasty come winter!

The sinks have arrived and yep I think they’ll work beautifully. Right it’s off to the workshop with new handles and shallow traps!

Excited for tomorrow…think we may have some carpet going down 🤞

I’ve realised I’m rubbish at living in a building site! It’s been ages since I’ve done a renovation while actually living in the mess, and turns out, I’m not the greatest at it nor is my straw like hair! But, we’re on the up—painting of the first rooms should be done by Friday, then it’s carpet time. After that, Phase 2: chimney getting re built, stoves going in, and a cracking project about to start in the annex and upstairs. Loving the madness ❤️
