We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has popped in over the last few days to say goodbye. Thank you for the kind words and thank you so much for the lovely gifts and cards, it means the a lot to us both.
It’s been lovely to get to know so many of you and we’ve also had lots of fun along the way.

Today is a very sad day down at The Little Village Shop.
At 2 o’clock we will turn the closed sign round for the very last time.
Nearly everything is now reduced so please pop in and grab a few bargains and help us empty the shelves. Otherwise we will be eating rice, pasta and soup for the next few years 😕

A few people have asked this week when we are closing down.
Our last day open will be Saturday the 26th of March.

It is with great sadness for us to announce that we have made the difficult decision to close the shop.
We have loved running the shop and getting to know our customers and we are glad to have been here to support the village during the covid crisis. Unfortunately due to the rising costs of running the shop and a decline in customers it is no longer viable for us to stay open.
We will stay open while we sell the stock that we have and continue to have bread and milk etc until we close.
We would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone who has continued to still support us during the last months.

Good Morning. Unfortunately I am still ill so the shop will be closed again.
We will be open at 3 for the last couple of hours and hopefully we will be back to normal opening Thursday x
