CLOSING DOWN

I am sorry to say I am closing Ryan Owens Chocolate at the end of April 2024.

The business has been struggling for a while now due to rising costs of ingredients, and pretty much everything to be honest. This has made me lose the love of making the chocolates and I don’t think it’s fair to charge how much I would need to with the increased costs, especially when everyone is struggling.

I want to say a massive THANK YOU to all of my customers and the shops that have stocked my products over the years. I’ve really enjoyed working with you and really appreciate your support

I will be making 1 final batch of chocolates next week which will be available on the website as usual, however once they are gone, that’s it.

If there are any chocolatiers out there who are in need of equipment, please get in touch.

I will be taking a break for a few months to figure out what’s next, and I will keep the account running to show you what I am up to (although the name will change to Ryan Owens Makes).

I'd just like to say a massive thank you to everyone who came to see me on Saturday at the Artisan Market in Newark.

It was lovely to be able to talk to customers and see their reactions when tasting my chocolate.

I also really enjoyed meeting other stall holders and there was a lovely atmosphere in the Buttermarket.
