Museum of the Horse to Close! That could well be the heading if I can't raise sufficient funds to sustain it when I die. I am 81 this year. No one lives forever. It would be such a shame for such a comprehensive collection to be broken up. That is why I have organised this conference with three eminent, published speakers who are all generously giving their time free in aid of the museum to contribute to the fundraising. Tickets are £50, which not only includes a voucher for £20 to spend in our gallery on the day or on our stand at Burghley Horse Trials. but also includes coffee three times during the day, lunch, entertainment and a tour of the exhibition. I am almost paying you to come!! If you order tickets direct from the museum it will enable the museum to avoid the Eventbrite fees. I hope you are all just waiting until closer to the date to order.
