We’re very happy to let you know that our second-hand magazines stall at Newark Knitting and Wool Show raised £663 for Rainbows children’s hospice. That's a fantastic amount! A very big thank you to everyone who donated their magazines and books and to everyone who bought from the stall. Well done to everybody, it's a great amount to donate!

My little heart is SO full right now ❤️❤️

The biggest thank you to every one of you who stopped by my stall this weekend at Newark Knitting and Wool Show and those of you who sent supportive messages too.

It took A LOT for me to step back into the show world again after a 3 year break - I never really talked much about how physically and mentally it took out of me to do them (and so many) and I was very uncertain about giving it another try, but with this show being literally on my doorstep, I had to really!

Honestly, it was like I had never been away. It felt like coming home in the best possible way and and after the journey I’ve been on since my breakdown, for so many of you to say that I was glowing/sparkling/myself again really means a lot ❤️

Huge thanks to my show bestie Jo for keeping me sane and for the non stop laughs, to Nick and Natasha for organising another fantastic show and for MrTH for getting me and all my stuff there and back again.

This is absolutely the first step towards me doing shows one more however I wont be doing lots and lots. Three a year at the most and please hold me to that because I really don’t want to fall out of love with them again!

I’m off to have a celebratory glass of wine and watch the reply of today’s F1 race which sounds like it was an absolute belter!!

I love my car, so spacious to allow me to take loads of raw fleeces with me tomorrow morning to set up at the Newark Knitting and Wool Show for the weekend.

As well as fleeces I have a variety of natural coloured yarns, slivers and batts from our flock of Shetland and Shetland Gotland x.

You find me near the entrance, looking forward to seeing everyone.
