A very productive morning.
I started designing a paper cut template based on my pottery hare wreath.
It's not finished yet, needs a few tweaks, but I'm really excited about it so far.
I'd been trying to think of a way to get my paper cut out designs on to my pottery for a while now, but it only just occured to me to try it the other way round!

Watch this space for more paper and pottery shenanigans

I'm trying to keep more of a record of what I make, and more importantly, how long it takes to have a finished item.
Stuff I should know, especially if someone is ordering something for a gift, or special occasion.

Today I made a table centerpiece for winter, and a holly covered tealight holder. Alongside finishing off some pieces I'd made on Wednesday.

These will hang around drying for a while, then go into the kiln. Next I'll have to glaze them, and then they go back into the kiln for a second time.

Whilst impatiently waiting for the kiln gods to be finished with my latest pottery offerings, I thought I would get some paper cutting done.

This lovely lady is hand cut from a single sheet of A4 paper.

Hopefully I will have her framed next week....
