Thatsewkay I create hand crafted items - hand knitted toys and clothes, cross stitch cards, individual bags and purses etc - whatever I feel inspired to do at the time!

I love making things. Rarely an evening goes by when I'm not busy with needles, wool, thread, buttons, sparkly things..... I'm a bit of magpie really. When I see gorgeous yarns or fabrics, I just have to have them. Then I spend my spare time making whatever inspires me at the time. I love hand knitting and always have several projects on the go: toys, baby garments, hats, socks...
But I also love

cross stitching. My walls have enough pictures on them, but I enjoy making special cards for friends and family and make them to sell too. Sewing is something I fit in inbetween the other activities. I've really enjoyed making some great bags and things recently and sold a few at some craft fairs. If there is something specific you would like, get in touch and I can discuss it with you. I love a challenge!

Here's a shopping bag I've designed using offcuts from old sample books for the outside and some fabric from my hoard for the lining. Embellished with ribbon from my hoard and buttons from 1 of my 3 button tins!
