We would like to make the community aware that an individual attempted to break into the Silverdale Post Office. This type of criminal behaviour is unacceptable and affects the whole community.

If you saw anything suspicious, have CCTV or dashcam footage, or know anything that could help identify the person responsible, please contact the police immediately.

Let’s work together to protect our local businesses and keep Silverdale safe for everyone.

The Silverdale Post Office branch is located at 23 The Parade, Silverdale, Newcastle-under-Lyme.

Unfortunately, Silverdale Post Office has suffered an attempted break-in overnight, resulting in damage to our front door.

The police are currently dealing with the incident and, as a result, the Post Office has been temporarily closed while investigations and safety checks are carried out.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.
